After successful enrollment, your aviation journey begins with obtaining a private pilot license. This certification teaches the fundamentals of flying, aircraft systems, navigation, weather, FAA regulations, and flight operations.

Step 3: Tap Into GI Bill® Benefits to Advance Your Aviation Training
After obtaining a private pilot license, the next step is to enroll at an aviation-focused college approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs to accept GI Bill® benefits. To make this transition simple, our pilot school has been working in partnership with the Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC), a GI Bill-approved institution, for well over three decades.
This partnership provides students with a clear pathway to further their pilot training by pursuing an Associate's degree in Airway Science Technology through CGCC using GI Bill® benefits. This degree program includes advanced pilot training, dispensed through our Phoenix flight school.
