On October 10th, UND Aerospace Foundation Phoenix held a short ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of our partnership with the Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC). This is a significant milestone in our continued collaboration in providing world-class flight training in the U.S.
UND Aerospace: Pioneering Pilot Training in Arizona
Founded in 1994, UND Aerospace was one of the first contracted flight school providers at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and has since been at the forefront of providing world-class pilot training in the Phoenix Valley.
With state-of-the-art facilities, a fleet of modern aircraft, and a team of seasoned flight instructors, our Mesa flight school is known for consistently meeting and exceeding industry standards in collegiate flight training, making it one of the best flight schools in USA.
The Chandler-Gilbert Community College Partnership: Unlocking Excellence
On inception, UND Aerospace Foundation Phoenix forged a groundbreaking partnership with Chandler-Gilbert Community College, a leading institution in higher education. The partnership is focused on providing a comprehensive collegiate flight training program that combines our cutting-edge facilities and excellence in pilot training with CGCC's dynamic learning community to offer an unparalleled learning experience.
Our collegiate program allows you to earn an Associate's Degree in Airway Science Technology at the CGCC while concurrently undergoing flight training to become a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) at the UND Aerospace Foundation Phoenix.
After completing the two-year collegiate program, our graduates can transition into the workforce or enroll at our parent university, the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks, ND, for an additional two years and graduate with a bachelor's degree in Aviation Studies.
This seamless collaboration has helped produce talented pilots who are highly sought after by leading aviation organizations in the United States and beyond.
